About Infiniti J30

Infiniti J30, also called as Nissan Leopard J Ferie in Japan, is a rear-wheel drive luxury vehicle manufactured by the Japanese automaker Infiniti division of Nissan from 1992 to 1997. The first Infiniti J30 was introduced in 1993 to replace the Infiniti M30 coupe as a 4-door sedan. It was designed to slot between the smaller Infiniti G20 and the larger Infiniti Q45 and it was also Infiniti's first mid-size sedan. Infiniti J30 was made to compete with the Lexus GS and Acura Legend, especially in North American market.
Infiniti J30 went into production on April 7, 1992 as a 1993 model and then it was released in the United States after the competitor Lexus GS. It was offered in base J30 and a more touring J30t trim levels. Infiniti J30 was powered by a 3.0 L VG30DE V6 engine that could produce 210 horsepower and 192 pound-feet of torque. And this engine was fitted along with a 4-speed automatic transmission. However, in 1997, Infiniti announced the production of Infiniti J30 would end on June 18, 1997; after that, the Infiniti J30 was replaced by the Infiniti I30, which though was introduced as early as 1996.
