Wedge a prybar or two screwdrivers behind the crankshaft pulley and carefully pry it off the crankshaft. If the pulley is difficult to remove, use a two-jaw type puller, ensuring the center rod pushes against the pulley bolt, and avoid placing the puller jaws around the outside of the crankshaft pulley to prevent damage.
