Remove the top engine cover and the engine lower splash shield, drain the cooling system, remove the air filter housing and related ducts, remove the coolant reservoir and related hoses from the radiator, detach the upper and lower radiator hoses from the radiator, remove the front grill and the hood latch and the cover over the radiator on 2007 and later G35 Sedans, remove the refrigerant lines from the air conditioning condenser, disconnect the transmission oil cooler hoses from the radiator, remove the refrigerant line bracket, remove the cooling fan assembly on vehicles with two electric cooling fans, remove the fan and clutch from its pulley and the related shrouds on vehicles with a clutch type cooling fan, remove the upper mounting retainers from the top of the radiator support, remove the upper mounting fasteners for the air conditioning condenser through the access holes in the radiator support on 2007 and later G35 Sedans, carefully separate the condenser from the radiator by pulling the condenser up slightly to withdraw its mounting tabs from the radiator on 2007 and later G35 Sedans, tilt the lop of the radiator (or assembly) toward the engine and lift it out of the engine compartment, inspect the radiator mounts for deterioration and make sure there's nothing in them when the radiator is installed, inspect the radiator for leaks and damage, remove bugs and dirt from the front of the radiator (or assembly), fill the cooling system with the proper mixture of antifreeze and water, start the engine and check for leaks, allow the engine to reach normal operating temperature and recheck the coolant level, and have the air conditioning system evacuated, recharged and leak-tested by the shop that discharged it on 2007 and later G35 Sedans.
