Remove the engine cover, fuel tank filler neck cap, and battery cable to relieve any pressure inside the fuel tank. Drain the engine coolant and remove the air intake duct and intake manifold plenum. Detach the fuel supply line and pulsation damper from the mounting flange on the end of the fuel supply tube, disconnect the electrical connectors from the fuel injectors, detach all injector harness clips, and clean any debris from around the injectors. Remove the fuel rail mounting bolts, gently rock the fuel rail and injectors side-to-side to loosen the injectors and remove the fuel rail and injectors as a single assembly. Remove the fuel rail mounting bolt spacers, place the fuel rail and injector assembly upside down on a clean work bench surface, remove the injectors from the fuel rail, remove and discard the 0-rings, and remove the pulsation damper and the fuel sub-tube if necessary. Coat the new 0-rings with clean engine oil and install them on the injectors, then install each injector retaining clip and insert each injector into its corresponding bore in the fuel rail until the retainer clip snaps into place. Clean the injector bores in the intake manifold, install the fuel rail mounting bolt spacers, work the injectors into the injector bores on the intake manifold, reconnect the fuel supply line/pulsation damper to its mounting flange, and turn the ignition switch to ON. Repeat this step two or three times, then check the fuel lines, fuel rail and injectors for fuel leakage.
